“Urban Geometry”

Now that I don’t have an office to manage anymore, I’ve been having fun building a life again. In pursuit of that goal, I’ve just completed a 5 session beginning photography class - emphasis on the word “beginning”. Photography is something I’ve been interested in for probably 20 years or more - and never did anything about. As my Dad would often say, I wasn’t going to learn any younger. And I learned a lot - not the least of which is how much I still have to learn! SO - our assignment for our final class was to pick a theme and pretend that we are preparing for a show. My theme was “Urban Geometry”. You can view them by looking at the album just to the right in the sidebar.

Some of the other students did really creative things - soft focus still lifes, one girl shot the whole series of her feet on different surfaces. It was pretty cool. What did I do? Well, the only thing I’ve known for 25+ years - real estate! I tried to make them less “real estatey”, and I had some success with that. But I guess it just comes back to why I’m still in this crazy industry. I just love property! And the people too, of course.
